Tanyeka Anderson joined Apelah in April 2009.  She holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Capella University.  Prior to working at Apelah, she worked in Mental Health as a Children's Day Treatment Logistics Specialist. 

Tanyeka began her tenure at Apelah as a Foster Care Case Manager.  In 2012, she was promoted to Foster Care Recruiter.  She was promoted to Case Manager Supervisor in 2014 and again to Program Director in 2019. 

Tanyeka is dedicated to Apelah as well as the families and children she serves in Mississippi.  She enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and shopping.
